Stylish place with nice swimming pool. AMAZING breakfast, elegant and delicious. Localisation is huge PLUS of this place, little jungle with monkeys and pickocks. The staff can call the tuk tuk driver and it is not a problem to go to the beach (it is cheap). I recommend Dalawella beach - amazing, you can see there turtles and it is close to this place (around 15 minutes).

With the tuk tuk (back and forth 7 euros) you are in the fantastic center of Galle. We'll be back.

Amazingly designed and unique villa, based on the outskirts of Galle with easy access to the centre of the city. We really enjoyed our stay here and it was nice to end/begin our days at a beautiful villa with a great pool every day. Ann was amazing in helping us organise our days in Galle and gave us some great suggestions for things to do.

Wow! Don’t hesitate, just book it. You won’t regret it. It’s in an unbeatable location within Galle Fort, walking distance to the lighthouse, groceries, f & b and shops. The building itself has so much character, with a beautifully designed interior to match and an incredible team of impressive staff. Luxury in the heart of Galle Fort We absolutely loved our stay here - we loved everything about it. The location, the service, the rooms, the history of the building, the restaurant, the pool. Everything! One of the most memorable places we have every stayed in. Thank you - we will be back!

A true heritage home in the main Galle Fort area. This home is 300 years old. 3 huge bedrooms and a nice pool as well. The hotel is very charming and walking distance from the museum's and the lighthouse. The staff are very helpful and the breakfast was fantastic as well. The rooms are very large with magnificent 4 poster beds. So peaceful inside and ocean you step out all the restaurants and shops are within walking distance. Such a great location.

Everything was great, service, friendly staff, food. Even for a fussy vegetarian. !!! Excellent location near perfect scenery and nearby shopping yet very quiet at night. be aware Galle fort area virtually closes about 10pm. GALLE is very laid back so you may have to ask twice for things and information about local activities but that's part of the charm. Credit cards are usually surcharged 3% extra.

This place is simply stunning. You feel regal just walking around the house (palace?). Looking out of the master bedroom you see over the ramparts and out across the ocean. You get the same view from the windowside tub in the huge ensuite bathroom. The dining/living area is open so you don't feel like you're inside, which is great when it's sunny but was also incredible when a sudden intense rain shower hit and we experienced it without getting wet - exhilarating.
