Perfect villa for a quiet and luxurious stay in weligama. Only 20meters to the beach (and it is the quiet part of weligama beach - not were all the surf schools, noisy beach bars and and big hotels are).
Our room (upper floor - only 3 rooms total in main house - 2 rooms on upper floor) was very spacious with an incredible unobstructed view on the beach and an undeveloped piece of land with lots of king coconut trees/ jungle. Very large and comfortable double bed.

The interior was really beautiful and it’s next to the beach with a nice and clean pool. We almost had the house for us cause we booked 4 nights and only two nights there where other guests so it felt kinda like our house. They also have an helpful guard and the cutest dog
I have stayed at the villa Augusta Beach House with My husband and 2 teenage boys (13&15). The villa has very nice houskeeping ladies and outside manager. You don't see them during the day. Also you feel very safe. They can help you with any question ( dinner, grosaries, some wine, tuktuk, etc.). The layout of the villa is lovely, each bedroom is en-suit, and there is a comfortable living Room on the 2nd floor with a huge balcony. The Best thing is the location. The villa is totaly on the beach1
August Beach House is a slice of Paradise! If you are coming to Weligama with a big group just book it!
The house is even better than the photos (hard to believe till you get here) both the indoor and outdoor spaces are homely and well decorated. The house is on the beach, two steps through the gate and you are in the sea.
You are surrounded by great bars and restaurants if you want to eat out.
But what makes this stay so magical is the incredible team that look after you whilst you stay. Neeta1
We had a lovely time at Michelle's place! We were 5 people visiting Welligama for the first time, and it was the perfect place to stay. It's much more beautiful in reality than the photos. Super clean, very nicely decorated, and the rooms are spacious. The pool was definitely a highlight, and you can walk right out of the backyard door to the beach! We spent fun days and relaxing nights at the villa, it was truly amazing. The staff were always available to help us with laundry, cleaning, and ev1
The villa is amazing. So much attention to design, detail and finishing that you don't typically see in Sri Lanka. Very well thought out and lots of effort Also, the beach that adjoins the property is really nice, but you don't really appreciate it from the pictures. The staff and cooking are great. My family and I didn't leave the villa for the entire 7 days!
Our stay at Villa Muhudu was just really great. We had an real nice room, with the best view (over the swimming pool, up to the sea) and an private balcony where we got our breakfast and/or dinner served. Everything was top quality. The pool was also perfect, the temperature and was really clean.
I ask my girlfriend to marry my the second day, the staff really helped my with making the day beautiful and perfect. They decorated our bathroom (bathtube) with candles en flowers and we had an dine1
The Villa (s) are incredible. The Staff are fantastic. Its a perfect spot to hide away from everything, its hidden away just enough, but very close to Weligama if needed. Its so peaceful. We were there with our kids (3yr old & 1.5yr old) who just loved the environment to run around in. Its worth noting that the villa's are very separate, so for younger children you have to be happy for them sleeping in a separate building/ villa to you. All in all we can't recommend this place highly enough. Yo1
7 of us visited Kumara for a week in Feb 2017.
It was simply perfect. The place is stunning. The individual guest houses are beautiful and the communal area and pool are paradise on earth. All the staff are great and go above and beyond. From arranging tuk tuks, to sorting out trips to national parks, to beer runs! Everything was catered for.
Kumara is only a short drive to Mirissa beach (beautiful, with lots of restaurants, bars - strongly recommend Zephyr.) and from Welligama (not quite as1
Our family of 4 enjoyed one of our best ever holidays staying at Lanka Lodge. The quiet, secluded location overlooking the Indian Ocean, set in a wonderful, large garden is very impressive. The spacious airy bedrooms are set around an internal courtyard. There is a huge verandah with dining table and arm chairs with a great view of the local wildlife, fireflies, kingfishers, chameleon, monitor lizards through the palm trees, past the pool to the sea. But perhaps the best thing about Lanka Lodge1
