Five, spectacularly-decorated, and well-furnished bedrooms are found at ISHQ, with ocean-inspired interiors featuring warm hues of blue, beige, white, and gold. With king-sized beds that are amazingly plush and cosy, the bedrooms provide the utmost comfort to guests. There are plush armchairs along with a table as well to the side, and the bedrooms are adjoined by a garden patio where you can relax and breathe easy with a cup of the morning. Each bedroom is accompanied by an en-suite bathroom that is equally luxurious with wooden flooring and panels, dual basins, and outdoor, tropical rain shower!
The villa is a true tropical paradise, placing you close to the Indian Ocean’s turquoise blue waters flanked by rows of towering palm trees. Meeting the beach are the lavish villa gardens that are manicured and trimmed, giving way to a luscious stretch of land. Lounge on the sun chairs, or take a dip in the villa swimming pool that is nestled between a patio that houses several chairs and lounge areas. Dutch-inspired architecture features whitewashed columns, and a shingled roof, complementing the stunning blue water of the pool.
ISHQ is a home away from home in which you are bound to find yourself missing the comfort, luxury, and spectacularly sophisticated design once you leave. The patio houses several pristine white, cushioned armchairs with azure blue cushions to make for comfortable and relaxing seating where everyone can relish a pleasant time outdoors with the fresh tropical breeze and beautiful scenery. A living area is furnished with plush sofas, all-white, that is poolside as well, so you can make the most of your surroundings. A poolside, American-style bar is where you can get your drinks as you lounge with your friends and family.
An uber luxe alfresco dining area is found on the patio as well, with a 14-seater dining table housed under a covered courtyard that features warm, yellow lighting, and verdant tropical foliage. A chef and his team are all set to serve your culinary needs, as they will delight you with dishes made from locally-produced, fresh ingredients. They can arrange for poolside dinners, or a candle-lit dinner next to the ocean, as you wish!
There are five-star amenities on offer at ISHQ Villa, including a personal chef serving a gourmet menu, general manager, butlers, spa therapists, and personal fitness trainer. There are local walking tours available to UNESCO Galle Fort, a World Heritage Site, South Asian cooking classes, cycling etc.

10/10Home from home, but with 5* service Ishq Talpe is a serene home from home, my family & I loved our stay there & were very well looked after by Manjula & all the staff. They took great care in looking after a specific meal plan that I was following, they were very accommodating & couldn’t do enough to help us. I would highly recommend Ishq Talpe to families wanting to visit Sri Lanka.

10/10Wow, best villa ever! Stayed there for 3 nights and what a truly amazing stay it was. It is brand new - opened in November 2017. The complete renovation was lead by one of the first students of Jeffrey Bauer, so every detail is carefully chosen. The ocean front view is really fantastic. It has 4 large bedrooms and is ideal for extended families of grown ups of friends gatherings. The villa is rented out as a whole, so even if you are just 2, you will have full privacy. It has multiple entertainment areas, we especially liked the gaming room, where you can play board games, read a book from the library collection, watch series on Netflix on Apple TV or have fun with Playstation, Nintendo WII. It's the best equipped villa I've seen in terms of the sound system, as Bose speakers are all over the place, whereas each room has its own iPad to switch between songs easily. There was some construction work done in the next building (should be supposedly finished within a couple of weeks) but we really didn't mind. The food was great - we only had breakfast included, but chose to stay in the retreat to have delicious lunch and dinner. The manager is a former gourmet chef and can make your wishes come true. The staff was very helpful and nice. The beach is wild so you don't have good access straight from the villa, you have to take 3 min walk. Overall highly recommend it - might also be a great place to have a small wedding.
