10/10Hidden gem to relax and recharge. We stayed for 3 nights with our daughters (7 and 9 years old) and truly enjoyed the beauty of Gileemale Walawwa, the most delicious local food, playing a game or two of Carrom & cards on the stunning terrace of the upstairs rooms, meeting local gem miners, visiting the Buddist temple nearby and a dip in the river behind the house. We truly recommend staying at Gileemale if you want to get off the beaten tracks to relax. It is a bit off the main routes and worth the detour.
