Simply go to the secluded palm-fringed beach in front of your villa to get a taste of the Indian Ocean, or walk to the Madampe lake and get a motorboat to travel around this amazing 390-hectare lake. If you would like to do some shopping, there is a nearby supermarket and Madampagama Wednesday Market is just a few hundred meters away. Check out Sanekvin Restaurant and Chill Pill Cafe and Bar for some good food and a fun evening. We recommend taking a tuk-tuk or car drive of about 15 minutes to explore cultural landmarks such as Hikkaduwa Railway Station and Seenigama Temple. If you are into wildlife and nature, Telwatta Bird Sanctuary, Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery and Hikkaduwa Coral Reef are the places to go.
10/10We really enjoyed our stay in villananda! The property was so nice and just on the beach. The team is really lovely ! They made our stay very enjoyable and memorable! We were celebrating an anniversary and the team organized decoration and fireworks at the villa, alongside a full bbq. The food in the villa is amazing we ended up eating there all the time! I highly recommend this villa if you are looking for some pampering, peace and quiet away from the hecticness of the outside world!
