Bautizado con el nombre del caracol marino ("muhudu bella"), este peculiar chalet de un dormitorio está situado en un lugar perfectamente aislado frente a la bahía de Weligama, en la costa sur de Sri Lanka, lo que lo convierte en el lugar ideal para una pareja, ya sea en luna de miel o en una escapada romántica.
Villa Muhudu Bella, como ya se ha mencionado, tiene una habitación con una cama grande y cómoda. El cuarto de baño al que se accede a través de la escalera de caracol es una inspiración de diseño en sí mismo, ya que está decorado de forma muy creativa con piezas que se adaptan al tema del "caracol marino", y la pieza de resistencia es la ducha que se encuentra en el centro de la espiral.
Las puertas del chalet se abren a una gran veranda con toldo de madera que da a un jardín lleno de hibiscos y, más allá, al impresionante Océano Índico.
El chalet es de un solo dormitorio y el espacio principal es el dormitorio y el vestidor, que ocupa la planta "superior"; después se puede bajar por una escalera en espiral hasta el cuarto de baño (muy parecido al interior de la concha de un caracol, de ahí el nombre). Decorada con gusto, con muebles antiguos mezclados con algo de decoración rústica y con todos los lujos que pueda necesitar, puede meterse dentro de la concha que es Villa Muhudu Bella para descansar y relajarse con su ser querido.

Situada en una ciudad playera de la costa sur de Sri Lanka, a unos 45 minutos de Galle, declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO, y a unas 2 horas de la capital comercial de Colombo, Villa Muhudu Bella se encuentra en Weligama, famosa por sus olas propicias para el surf, pero también por sus impresionantes playas.
10/10Our stay at Villa Muhudu was just really great. We had an real nice room, with the best view (over the swimming pool, up to the sea) and an private balcony where we got our breakfast and/or dinner served. Everything was top quality. The pool was also perfect, the temperature and was really clean. I ask my girlfriend to marry my the second day, the staff really helped my with making the day beautiful and perfect. They decorated our bathroom (bathtube) with candles en flowers and we had an diner in the nice garden, again with candles and flower and the best diner we had in Sri Lanka. We ordered a diner, what wasn't on the menu but this isnt any problem, they cook anything you want and it was really good. The villa, the room, the swimming pool, breakfast, diner; everything was just perfect and like a movie scene. We are really thankfull en happy with the villa and all the staff, thank you guys!
10/10It is with great regret that we only managed to stay here for one night. We stayed in the Bella,and what treat.We had left our previous accomodation as it was not suitable and arrived here very early in the morning.No problem,we sat around the pool ,had a delicious lunch,walked on the beach and was made to feel very welcome. Once our gorgeous room was ready we were given the run down re ordering meals ,as your meals are brought to your room, and served on the lovely patio. We found the staff most obliging and friendly. Loved the decor ,the tropical garden,not to mention the lovely pool with a view over sea. Could have been happy to sit in those bean bags all day.
10/10This place is top class in every way. Class rooms, we stayed in the main villa with a balcony view over the beach. Beautiful food and tastier than any where else I ate in weligama or mirissa. The price of the food is the same as you would pay on a beach front view restaurant but miles tastier. Class staff, always smiling and keeping us amused with local tips. This was a tip top choice place to stay:))
10/10Perfect small hotel in lovely quiet location with lovely pool and fantastic view over beach popular with surfers (glorious sunsets). Rooms well decorated. Meals served on our own terrace beside the pool - dinners good, breakfast not quite as good as other places we stayed, but overall we loved our 4 days here and hope to return.
