Er zijn drie op maat gemaakte slaapkamers in Ranna Beach House die zijn ingericht met kingsize hemelbedden voor de beste nachtrust aller tijden. Het minimalistische en eigentijdse interieur is overspoeld met smetteloos wit en meubels van lokaal teakhout voor een monochrome sfeer. Twee van de privé-slaapkamers bieden een spectaculair uitzicht op de oceaan en de derde leidt je naar de tropische tuinen. De slaapkamers zijn voorzien van airconditioning zodat je rustig kunt slapen als een roosje.
Geniet van warm water op zonne-energie in de ensuite badkamers die modern zijn ingericht met ruime armaturen, ligbaden en tropische douches.

Het landschap is omzoomd met palmbomen die hoog boven je uittorenen, een hangmat voor een dutje, een vuurplaats voor wat nachtelijke avonturen en je hebt een prachtige cabana naast de oceaan waar je een intiem en romantisch diner kunt regelen.
Het overloopzwembad kijkt uit over de oceaan voor een heerlijk uitzicht, terwijl je talloze ligstoelen hebt om te loungen. Gasten kunnen buiten dineren zodat je kunt genieten van een stevig ontbijt met uitzicht op de oceaan.
Ranna Beach House heeft een naadloze overgang van het buitenleven naar een binnenruimte met airconditioning. De patio is ontworpen met voldoende zitplaatsen zodat je 's ochtends thee of koffie kunt drinken met een prachtig uitzicht. De moderne en elegante woonkamer is ingericht en ontworpen voor optimaal comfort met een schuin, traditioneel plafond, prachtige kunstwerken aan de muren en plafondventilatoren voor een goed geventileerde sfeer. De glazen deuren kunnen open worden gelaten voor het prachtige landschap buiten, inclusief de oceaan en het zwembad. Er zijn pluche, taupe banken in de woonkamer die heerlijk zijn om op te ontspannen aan het eind van de dag.
Gasten van de villa zijn vrij om te dineren waar ze willen en als het buiten is, dan staat je een traktatie te wachten, want dineren onder de sterrenhemel met het geluid van de oceaangolven is echt een betoverende ervaring. Er is een persoonlijke butlerservice waar je om kunt vragen en het personeel kan met plezier heerlijke maaltijden voor je bereiden boordevol authentieke lokale smaken.
Of het nu gaat om dineren aan het strand of een uitstapje naar de stad Tangalle, het personeel van Ranna Beach House biedt hun gasten een perfect op maat gemaakte service. Je kunt gerust zijn in de wetenschap dat je in goede handen bent. Om te dineren kun je kiezen uit uitgebreide menu's en de butlerservice zorgt ervoor dat je tijdens je verblijf kunt genieten van heerlijke smaken. 10/10The beach villa allows you to completely wind down. If you book one room, ask for one of the sea side rooms. Better book all 3 rooms to have the villa to yourselves. The beach garden is wonderful and the pool is cool. Furthermore, the food is delicious. Mind you, take enough cash with you so you can buy fresh lobster from the nearby fishermen or have beverages delivered from Ranna village. The lobster was wonderfully prepared by the chef. All in all excellent place! Thank you Kumara, Lasantha & Prasad! You added the magic to this beautiful place!
10/10An amazing and relaxing stay. Would highly recommend if you want a relaxing few days in a beautiful villa with a semi private beach in the background. The setup looks exactly like photo. In addition to the beautiful villa and relaxing nature, the accommodations also features a lovely staff. The service is amazing, with the team popping up just when you need something, but also giving you space so that you are able to relax. The food prices were very reasonable and the chef very talented. We stayed 2 nights and ate there for breakfast lunch and dinner. You can also have your meals whenever you want. One night we had a beautiful bonfire with what felt like all you can eat lobster. Highly recommend, best stay we had in Sri Lanka.
10/10If you have found your way to this review, you’ve made it. I mean you can stop looking for other places to stay and just hope that the house is available the dates you have in mind. In fact, if it isn’t, you should seriously consider changing your vacation plans in accordance with when the house is available. Yes - this place is THAT good. Provided that you don’t mind and even prefer having an entire djungle beach all by yourself - save for some fishermen tending to their nets and other locals enjoying a swim. Okay, there will be monkeys too, and water buffalos if you are lucky, but that is basically it. Oh and of course, the mindblowingly good staff at the house. They provide an experience that is second to none, I dare say. The food the chef cooks up is probably the best you will have as a visitor to Sri Lanka, and very well priced at that. The staff has this discrete manner to them and just seem to materilaze out of thin air when you need something (or sometimes even before you realized there was something you neede help with), yet they are so genuinly warm and will make you feel right at home. We spent 8 days at the house over Christmas and they made it unforgetable - log fire barbeque with fresh caught lobster and fish, dined outside under the palm trees and a full moon, a Christmas tree and even some teddy bears as Christmas gifts for our girls. Unforgetable. We spent several hours playing in the ocean together with the staff, went to the local temple together (picking basically every exotic fruit I know, directly from the trees, along the way), and they even introduced us to cricket (awesome!). Oh and by the way, the house is exactly as nice as it looks, down to every little detail. Even complete with a red tuk-tuk, that will take you whereever you need to go (turtle watching, the local market, etc.).
