It features three regal-looking bedrooms with air-conditioner, ensuites, poster beds and traditionally painted wardrobe which can accommodate maximum six guests. Relax in the queen bed of the first room or the double bed of the second whilst indulging in the beautiful views of the swimming pool outside. The third room comes with two single beds that are cozy and comfortable. After a hot sunny day, you can refresh yourself in the lovely open-plan bathrooms with outdoor showers.

Besides a unique architecture and an impeccable style, Villa Godahena’s key characteristics also include its breathtaking outdoor areas. The alluring 40-foot long blue pool is a great place for you and your family to have fun swimming together or sunbathe on the matching-color beach chairs. The surrounding private gardens with medicinal plants and tropical fruit trees will not only give you fresh air and lush greenery but also opportunities to try local fruits and educate yourself or your children on Sri Lanka’s biodiversity.
Rest on the wooden veranda chairs in the airy veranda covered by slanted roofs for the cool of the shade. What is more enjoyable than having your meals in the delightfully decorated dining area in the veranda overlooking the gardens and pool? In the evening, you can even barbecue with your family and friends using the charcoal BBQ facilities provided by the villa!

The traditional living room embodies the true Sri Lankan spirit with its wooden sofa and armchairs, coupled with warm lighting and tropical decorations. On especially hot days, get some books from the selected collection displayed right outside of the room and stay in for a good read with your afternoon tea. The fully-equipped kitchen with good-quality appliances including a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, gas stove, kitchenette, and pantry items will allow you to have fun cooking for yourself and your family and friends.

Once you arrive at Villa Godahena, you will not need to worry about anything because the helpful manager and friendly team will take care of everything for you. At this self-contained villa, daily housekeeping will be provided for your convenience. If you prefer to have your meals prepared by a professional chef, the resident chef will be able to cook for you a selection of dishes from the reasonably priced menu. Don’t hesitate to reach out to the team if you have any requests - at least one member will stay overnight in the joined service house to assist you. The property manager and staff can help you book massages, arrange tuk-tuks or mini vans for your local journeys and even take you around the Madampe lake using the villa’s own motorboat!
